We don’t live in a perfect world. I mean, if we did things like chocolate milk would settle in my bell much easier than it does. Regardless of my inability to properly digest dairy, however, sometimes things just work out in a way where everyone wins — no matter the shortcomings of the folk involved. A good example being Stetson Hatters forward, Kentwan Smith, destroying the rim off an alley-oop pass in the most nonchalant of ways.
Outside of the lowish quality of the video to start, Smith’s seemingly carefree attitude after the dunk and the fact that Stetson did happen to win the game, how would you rank this dunk? It’s not the greatest thing since sliced-bread (what was the greatest thing before sliced-bread was invented?), but it’s a good early season (insert NBA Jam-ish adjective here). Especially considering it was coming from a guy who plays for a team whose mascot is a hat — like, it’s a hat, right?
Either way, Smith is averaging 7.8 points per game for a Stetson team who only has one victory (1-9 on the season) on the year. So, I guess it’s nice that they did get the win to go along with this alley-oop during last night’s game.
