Remember last season? You know, when some irrational fans wanted Bill Self’s head on a stick after a rough stretch to start the season. Yeah, about that. Those people were dopes then and are probably still dopes now. Currently, however, they are silent in their uneducated criticisms because Self is all kinds of awesome. He was last year as well, but that wasn’t as obvious to those dopes. Awesome has to apparently be shoved down their face or they don’t know it — much in the same way we have to shove veggies down kids’ mouths.

No matter. Self has more than enough job security. His only worry should be getting his Kansas Jayhawks pass a good Colorado Buffaloes basketball team on Saturday.

Should I Watch This Hoops Spectacular?

Actually, yes. I usually reserve this spot to be all kinds of a jerkface, but this should honestly be a pretty good game. Plus, it features everyone’s favorite new punching bag, Andrew Wiggins. Just as a reminder, though, he’s still really good. Sorry he’s not living up to your insane level of expectations.

Jenga!
