The world can sometimes be a scary place. What it can’t be allowed to be, however, is a place where Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball isn’t a cool thing. I can still remember when people thought of them as a small school, they featured players with weird haircuts without hair gel (hair gel used to be all the rage, I swear) and Mark Few wasn’t as cool as a cucumber on the opposite side of the pillow.
Times have changed, though. No longer the little team that could, Gonzaga is now a program that is expected to compete each and every year (except in the tournament, I suppose). The New Mexico State Aggies are not on the same level as the Bulldogs, but they aren’t horrible either. Now it’s their turn to see if they can backhand Cinderella in the face.
Seriously, what’s the expiration date for those slippers?
