The Villanova Wildcats were not expected to be all that special this season according to some experts. I think it is safe to assume, however, that Jay Wright and his players did not receive the memo. Nine games into the 2013-14 college basketball season, the Wildcats have as many losses as you or I do — and we don’t even play college basketball.

Their next game is against the La Salle Explorers, however. Who are not exactly setting the world on fire. Will La Salle pull the upset, can Nova continue being all kinds of swell and how much wood can a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck….

How to Watch

La Salle Explorers (5-4, 0-0 A 10) at #10 Villanova Wildcats (9-0, 0-0 Big East)

Sunday, December the 15th

2:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time

At The Pavilion

Picture Box: Fox Sports 1

Should I Be Watching

Yes. Sure. I mean, if you want to.

Nova should be able to handle the Explorers with general ease, but you never know. Plus, it will be interesting to see — now that the Wildcats have expectations — if they play down to the level of their opponents or if they just kick them around the court. Either way, with a lack of 2.pm.-ish quality games, this is probably a game to have on your TV.
