The Michigan State Spartans are having a hard time staying healthy this season. Through no fault of their own it seems like one or two players are always missing games, on the bench or in some other form of being incapacitated. That is why the report of forward, Branden Dawson, being out for the next 4-5 weeks is so troubling. Oh, that and the way he hurt it.
According to Dawson he broke his hand while watching film. I suppose that is much in the same way your buddy hurts his hand while throwing his X-Box remote after a grueling game of Madden. Either way, though, this is not good for the Spartans.
In total five Michigan State players have missed at least one game this year. Which is no big deal considering they are still winning a ton of games, but building as much chemistry as humanly possible before the NCAA Tournament starts would be nice.
I feel bad for Dawson. Honestly, we mean it. He cares enough about the game of basketball, his team and his teammates that he got that frustrated during a film room study. Sadly, however, this will surely inspire a slew of bad injury jokes.
Like the time the Jared Diamond made all those anthropologists so mad they wrote articles in The Guardian!
Listen, I was so close to not linking those articles and leave you scratching your head. You’re welcome, people who can give zero poops about Jared Diamond or anthropology.
