There is a really important AAC game tonight. Outside the fact that I never thought that the words AAC and important would ever been in the same sentence, it is true. Tonight will see the number 13 ranked Cincinnati Bearcats player the 12 ranked Louisville Cardinals at the infamous Yum! Center (which is so much better than the Club State Pool Cleaners’, Yuck! Center).
Cincinnati also received some very good news well-before the game is set to tip-off. Center, Justin Jackson, has not only been cleared to play in tonight’s game, but he is a good enough go to be a starter.
It could be argued — because I have — that the AAC has been as good a league at the top as any in the country. These two teams are obviously a huge reason for that.
As for Justin Jackson being cleared to play, though. It adds a huge presence in the middle for Cincinnati and — regardless of tonight’s outcome — will do wonders for the Bearcats as the season winds down and the madness that is March starts to get underway.
The game is on ESPN tonight at 7 pm Eastern Standard Time. This is clearly the must watch game of the evening.
