9. C.J. Wilcox for three vs. Arizona (2011)

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

It’s not every day you see a freshman taking the final shot for a team in the conference tournament, but that’s exactly what happened at the Staples Center back in 2011 for the Washington Huskies. Wilcox, averaging just 8.1 points a game, connected on the most important shot of his young career, a three-pointer with 5.7 seconds left that helped send the Huskies and Arizona Wildcats to overtime in the title game.

Wilcox was 0-4 on the night from deep before connecting on the big one. If you weren’t fortunate enough to see it, here’s a clip — cue to the 5:35 mark for the sequence leading up to C.J.’s three.
