Being held continuously since 1979, the SEC Tournament has become a college basketball staple.  Every March, thousands of fans of the fourteen SEC schools flock to either Atlanta, New Orleans, or Nashville in order to see their team gain bragging rights and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.  Some teams seem to continually dominate in the tournament, while others can’t seem to catch a break.

Either way, it’s been an exciting part of the college basketball landscape since 1979 and it’s provided us–the fans–with more than enough memorable moments.  The moments being recounted in this piece are the best ten moments of the SEC Tournament since 1979.  You’ll probably recognize some of them, so sit back and relish in the nostalgia.
