2)  UK Beats Arkansas, the Eventual National Champions, in Triple Overtime

In the 1993-94, the SEC was dominated by three schools:  Kentucky, Florida, and the Nolan Richardson-coached Arkansas Razorbacks.  The Razorbacks were led by the dominant forward Corliss Williamson, who averaged 20.4 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game.

Arkansas’s tough pressure defense that was dubbed as “40 Minutes of Hell” certainly lived up to the moniker, which was why Arkansas only had 2 losses coming into this game, both of which were by two points or less.  Although, Kentucky was no slouch either.

The game that ensued was perhaps one of the greatest to ever be played in SEC history.  After Kentucky mounted two very large comebacks and ultimately won in triple overtime, this game forever stuck in the memory of all fans as one of the most spectacular games played by those wearing Kentucky blue.
