In what would be Charles Barkley’s final game against an SEC opponent, the two seed Tigers faced off against a Kentucky squad who made it as high as number one in the polls earlier that season.

The Wildcats were a tough team, as usual, and were as prepared as ever to take on the Round Mound of Rebound, who would ultimately become a Hall of Famer and one of the greatest to ever play the game of basketball.  In a low scoring affair where the lead changed hands almost 20 times, it came down to a game-winning shot by Kenny Walker to seal the title for the Wildcats by a score of 51-49.

That ultimately led to this iconic photo of a woeful Charles Barkley being taken.
