Colorado Buffaloes
Record: (23-11, 10-8 Pac-12)
RPI: 31
BPI: 51
Conference: Pac-12
How They Qualified: At-large
To me at least, the Colorado Buffaloes are a puzzle that has a few pieces that are a little too rough around the edges to comfortably fit into place. The good news in that horrible comparison is the fact that no of the pieces to that puzzle are missing. That’s despite losing Spencer Dinwiddie for the year.
What You Need to Know
Leading Scorer: Spencer Dinwiddie (not active), Josh Scott (14.1)
Leading Rebounder: Josh Scott (8.5 rpg)
Leading Passer: Askia Booker (3.4 apg)
Bad Losses: Washington
Good Wins: Kansas, Oregon, Stanford
What to Expect
This team leaves me in a state of confusion. Which really isn’t anything new, but I can’t explain the success they have had despite losing their best player earlier in the year. To their credit, however, it has not stopped them from achieving what everyone thought would be impossible to do without Dinwiddie, make the Big Dance.
They play Pittsburgh in the first-round. So, yeah, who knows. Not me. I am trying to put together a puzzle with no pieces.
Regardless, the Colorado Buffaloes are going dancing in the NCAA Tournament!
