Oregon Ducks

Record: (23-9, 10-8 Pac-12)

RPI: 28

BPI: 20

Conference: Pac-12

How They Qualified: At-large

The Oregon Ducks like to play their basketball like they like to play their football, as in with lots of up-temp and great rhythm.

This season had its up and downs, though. After starting the season with 13 straight victories, the Ducks followed that up by losing their next five. All of which resulted in many experts questioning the merits of this program.

What You Need to Know

Leading Scorer: Joseph Young (18.6 ppg)

Leading Rebounder: Mike Moser (8.0 rpg)

Leading Passer: Johnathan Loyd (4.7 apg)

Bad Losses: Oregon State, Washington

Good Wins: BYU, Arizona, UCLA

What to Expect

Oregon’s good is very good. Their offense can also be explosive. So that alone should put them in a position to be in any game that they are in. It also doesn’t hurt that their first match-up is against a team they already beat (BYU), albeit it the fact that it took them an overtime to put them away.

With all of that being said, the Ducks are a dangerous team. Don’t sleep on them as a potential Cinderella.

Regardless, the Oregon Ducks are going dancing in the NCAA Tournament!
