Saint Louis Billikens

Record: (26-6, 13-3 A 10)

RPI: 26

BPI: 30

Conference: A-10

How They Qualified: At-large

The Saint Louis Billikens are no longer a Cinderella. Technically they still could be, I mean if Cindy liked to whoop on her foes on a constant basis and they knew it was coming.

Here is what I am trying to say, the Selection Committee really thinks highly regarding the A-10. Saint Louis still beat the ever living Sam Cassell out of nearly every in-conference opponent — they are good.

What You Need to Know

Leading Scorer: Dwayne Evans (14.0 ppg)

Leading Rebounder: Dwayne Evans (6.4 rpg)

Leading Passer:  Jordair Jett (4.8 apg)

Bad Losses: Duquesne

Good Wins: Dayton, St. Joe’s, UMass

What to Expect

To fall in love with Jordair Jett all over again. Especially if you are just a casual college hoops fan who hasn’t been paying attention to them this year. An entire year without Jordair is like going an entire year with out air (see what I did there?).

Seriously, Saint Louis is obviously a very legitimate threat to make noise in the NCAA Tournament. The biggest issue facing them, however, will be if they can muster up enough offense to keep pace with some of the up-tempo teams that they may face down the line.

The Saint Louis Billikens are going dancing in this year’s NCAA Tournament. Congrats to them.
