Oranges Still Dancing:
Featuring the only team in the field with three wins thus far, the Tennessee Volunteers, orange has a pretty solid record despite only being worn by six teams. The Vols feature a brighter shade of orange than normal but it’s effective nonetheless. They’ve won their three games against three different colors in an effort to prove orange is indeed the new black. Fortunately for them but unfortunately for their color, they had to sacrifice Mercer to the land of the eliminated in the third round.
The other team still alive is the top overall seed, the Florida Gators. They are often confused as a blue school but according to their fight song, “The Orange and Blue,” it’s clear they’re an orange school. They’re the favorite to win the whole thing according to 27.1 percent of ESPN brackets.
Orange is tied with green, another secondary color, for the best winning percentage (.667) of all the colors.
Oranges No Longer Dancing:
