Shabazz Napier may have just become a UConn legend, helped the Huskies win the entire NCAA Tournament as well as lead the way for them to be National Champions, but that doesn’t mean his postgame platform can only be used for cliches.
Just hours after being quoted (or not quoted, depending on who you talk to) as saying that he has many hungry nights thanks to the NCAA’s inability to have an ability, Shabazz Napier dropped this Bazz-a-licious bomb during UConn’s National Championship celebration.
If you’re an uneducated person, you might think he was talking about the fact that the Huskies couldn’t perform in last year’s NCAA Tournament. But then again, you come to Busting Brackets for your college basketball insight, news and opinion — so, of course you are not uneducated.
Napier finished the game with 22 points and ended his college basketball career with a National Title as well as a finger for the entire picture-box viewing audience to appreciate being hurled at the NCAA’s general direction. Granted, it was only a playful, light finger.
I love you, Shabazz Napier. I love you forever.
