Chane Behanan has declared for the NBA Draft

Well, it looks like another name has been officially been added to the 2014 NBA Draft list of prospects who are projected to go between late-second round to never actually drafted. This time, however, it has less to do with skill and more to do with everything this player has done to get himself in trouble. Yup, Chane Behanan has entered his name in the NBA Draft.

All kidding aside, because it is actually not funny, Behanan hasn’t been able to keep his life in order. Between getting booted from Louisville, then getting in trouble before even officially stepping foot on his new campus, Chane Behanan has made more headlines for his off the court behavior than he has on it.

So, what does this mean? Not much. It won’t alter Louisville’s post Behanan life, as they have dealt without him since December. It shouldn’t alter the NBA Draft all that much either. Rumor has it, scores of NBA teams do not lineup for slightly below average prospects who come with a mafia truck full of baggage.

We do wish him all the best, regardless. Behanan getting his life in order, hopefully now with the assistance of pro basketball money, will be a reality.
