31. Milwaukee Bucks – Artem Klimenko, C, Russia
H: 7′ 1″ W: 228 lbs DOB: 01/10/1994
The Bucks seemingly like projects, and with the first pick in the second round they’ll get their unproven talent with incredible potential when they take Russian big man Artem Klimenko.
Everything I read and see about Klimenko looks like Steven Adams pre-college, and if the Bucks are able to get that kind of value in the second round they’ll be ecstatic. Klimenko’s greatest attributes are his mobility and 7-foot-4 wingspan, and despite not having much lift, he’s shown that he can finish with either hand, and isn’t afraid to force the issue around the basket.
Klimenko is still very raw, but as a strong offensive rebounder and someone who shot around 75-percent from the free throw line last season, there’s reason to believe he has the capability to develop into a role playing big at the very least. — Jared
