34. Dallas Mavericks — Glenn Robinson, SF, Michigan

H: 6′ 7″ W: 211 lbs DOB: 01/08/1994

2013-14 NCAA (37 GP) 13.1 PPG 4.4 RPG 1.2 APG 19.2 PER

I am not entirely sold on the idea of Glenn Robinson being anything other than a part-time role guy off the bench in the NBA. He is going to need to find himself a niche, really, if he wants to see significant minutes at the next level.

What worries me about him is that he didn’t step into the leading man shoes while at Michigan after Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. went pro. While everyone expected Robinson or McGary to become the man at Ann Arbor, it ended up being some skinny kid named Nik.

That doesn’t mean he is going to end up being an NBA bum. If he continues to work on his three-point acumen, attempts to defend on a more consistent basis and finds a way to become a better rebounder, who knows what he can do. Although, that is a lot of things to ask for from a guy. — Joe
