36. Milwaukee Bucks, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, D-League (International), SF
H: 6′ 6″ W: 205 lbs DOB: 07/17/1992
2013-14 D-League (50 GP) 12.0 PPG 4.3 RPG 2.1 APG 13.1 PER
This pick has to happen. Not because I think the world of Thanasis Antetokounmpo, but because I want the Bucks to be forced into bankruptcy by having to pay for so many letters due to their players’ sir names.
Okay, I kid (kinda). Here is the thing for the Bucks, though, drafting a ho-hum prospect doesn’t seem like a great idea. They are nowhere near close to being good. They do have some really good young talent and whatnot, but they just aren’t ready yet. It wouldn’t be a horrible idea for them to take a shot with a guy who already did okay in the D-League and could play his first year with the team.
Oh, and again, because long names. — Joe
