Joe Harris played unselfish hoops for Virginia to help the team win after being a box-score marvel in 2012-13 and now his draft stock suffers. Outside of the fact that a player becoming a more rounded, overall type of player hurting his stock, I am not too sure why people have him graded as being a back-end of the second-round like prospect.
I don’t see Harris as an NBA starter, though. I mean, we rarely see second-rounders ever being that anyway, but I do see him as eventually being the eight guy on a roster for a team who is playing pretty deep in the playoffs.
Unfortunately the T-Wolves are nowhere near making deeps runs. A lot of their draft is going to be pending on the Kevin Love situation, so if they move him and get no bigs in return it is pretty safe to expect them to guy power forward heavy with a lot of their picks. — Joe
