2014 NBA Mock Draft: An in-depth look at both rounds

52. Philadelphia 76ers — Jahii Carson. PG, Arizona State

Another underrated point guard prospect. Unlike Nick Johnson, though, Jahii Carson is more of a scoring one than anything else. Unfortunately for him, as well as his draft stock, he is not even 6″ tall, which prevents him from being a true combo-guard or even playing without the ball in his hands that much.
Carson is going to have a hard time adjusting to the NBA. He does possess enough skills to stay in the league, though. Being tiny won’t mean his ability to score will completely vanish. Plus, he also happens to be a really solid ball-handler.
There will be a spot for Carson on an NBA roster. If he gets selected by the right team or gets to play in the right system, he can end up being a pretty valuable asset too. — Joe
