Kentucky vs. Florida

Who would have thought two SEC teams field the best NBA teams? Florida used their size to make their run to the finals, while the Wildcats used their immense talent to get there.

In the finals, Kentucky faces a team that can match up with them down low, and actually are probably better. Noah and Horford, two veterans, against Davis and Cousins, two youngsters, would be so much fun to watch. Still, with Lee and Haslem off the bench, they’ll overwhelm Nerlens Noel and Patrick Patterson, Kentucky’s second unit down low.

However, Florida’s weakness in the back court would be exposed. Rondo, Bledsoe, and Wall are all solid defenders and would likely have a field day against Beal, Corey Brewer, and Parsons as the primary ball handlers. If the Gators can initiate an offense, they can surround their post players with shooters.

In the end, it’d be a fantastic match-up, but I can’t go against a Kentucky team as loaded as that. No matter their weakness, they’d find a way to overcome it with Rondo and Wall in the back court. Kentucky would be your champions.
