Nu Williams, 2015 four-star guard, commits to Auburn
By Jacob Rude
Welcome back to college basketball, Bruce Pearl. Now save some recruits for everyone else.
It has been almost exactly a week since Pearl’s show-cause ban was lifted. And after the commitment Saturday afternoon of four-star guard New Williams, he has assembled the top 2015 recruiting to date.
"New Williams, a four-star guard, just verbally committed to Auburn, per Earl Watson Elite coach Ryan Silver.– Evan Daniels"
Williams, a four-star guard, committed to Auburn in the middle of his official visit to the campus, giving Pearl yet another commit to the 2015 class.

The Santa Monica product is coming off an ACL injury that kept him out of action for his entire junior season. Nevertheless, he had offers lined up from Auburn, UNLV, Arizona State, and UTEP, among others. But it was the Tigers who secured his commitment.
A lefty, Williams is seen as a combo guard with an ability to score. Whether or not his injury has limited his explosion or speed is yet to fully be seen, but Pearl and his staff had enough faith in his recovery to continue to offer him a scholarship.
With Williams joining fellow four-star recruits Daniel Purifoy and Horace Spencer as well as junior college standout TJ Dunans, Auburn has positioned themselves as the early leader for the top 2015 recruiting class. With Pearl back and clearly not having missed a beat, the sky appears the limit for the Tigers.
