2015 NBA Draft: Preseason Top 10 NBA Draft Prospects
By Jacob Rude
6. Cliff Alexander, F/C, Kansas
Alexander is one of two Kansas forwards on this list, which shows why the Jayhawks are 5th rated in the nation.
When looking up reports on Alexander’s game, you’ll most often find words like “bruiser” and “old school.” With some prospects, you have to question their intensity and drive, but that is the absolute last thing you wonder about Alexander’s game. His 6’9″ frame is bulky and strong, making him already NBA ready physically.
Now the freshman needs to develop his game, which is a step-below his physical development. Despite being a physical freak, his 6’9″ frame is a bit undersized as an NBA power forward, considering his lack of range offensively. He’ll need to develop more of a face-up game to make the jump to the next level.
