2015 NBA Draft: Preseason Top 10 NBA Draft Prospects
By Jacob Rude
4. Kelly Oubre, SF, Kansas
Oubre is a point-forward that has drawn comparisons to a young Tracy McGrady.
At 6’7″, Oubre has the size of an NBA small forward. His athleticism takes it to a whole other level. His fearlessness in getting to the rim is nice, but his 7’1″ wingspan means he can finish over nearly anyone who gets in front of him. With the skills to play a point forward role, Oubre sees the floor well and has a smooth play style.
He can, however, get out of sorts offensively by playing too quickly. While a great ball-handler, he needs to improve on creating shots for teammates, which he’ll have the chance to do with Kansas.
