In news that should shock no one, head coach Mike Krzyzewski said that he expects freshmen center Jahlil Okafor to be a one-and-done prospect this year, entering the draft at the end of the season.

Okafor is, by most regards, the top-rated prospect heading into the season. Chad Ford of ESPN ranks him #1 and Draft Express ranks him #1. Most notable mock drafts have him among the top three picks, if not the top pick.
After seemingly reluctant on recruiting one-and-done talent, Mike Krzyzewski has finally adapted, landing Jabari Parker last season and the top recruit in Okafor this season.
With Okafor at the helm, Duke is one of the title favorites this year. Fellow top recruits Justise Winslow and Tyus Jones will help the Blue Devils, while returnees Quinn Cook and Rasheed Sulaimon will act as upperclassmen leaders. Together, Duke has a very strong squad and should contend for both the ACC title and national title.
Okafor has been named to just about every preseason All-Americans list, topped off with his appearance as an Associated Press preseason All-American. Needless to say, the expectations for Okafor, Krzyzewski, and the Blue Devils are very big, with the Cameron Crazies yearning for a national championship.
