Arizona, Kansas highlight future Armed Forces Classics lineup

As part of the Armed Forces Classic in 2015 and 2016, the Arizona Wildcats, Kansas Jayhawks, and Indiana Hoosiers highlight a host of games for future games.
Having become one of the mainstays of college basketball in recent years, the Armed Forces Classic is a great opportunity to honor servicemen while witnessing fantastic competition.
"ESPN announced Friday that the 2015 game will be held at the Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler in Okinawa, Japan, between perennial NCAA-bound tournament teams Gonzagaand Pitt. The 2016 event will be quite a culmination of this five-year cycle of games played at military bases. The event will originate from the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Honolulu a few weeks shy of the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. This unique event will be a doubleheader, the first time the Armed Forces Classic has held two Division I games at one site, with Indianaplaying Kansasand Arizonamatching up with Michigan State. The selection of Arizona makes sense with one of the sunken ships being the USS Arizona."
Obviously the highlight comes in 2016, with Indiana and Kansas squaring off to start and Michigan State and Arizona featured in the second game.
In previous years, the Armed Forces Classic has seen games in Germany and Korea and will featured a game in Puerto Rico tonight between Minnesota and Louisville. Despite featuring UConn and Michigan State in the inaugural game, there hasn’t been any match-up as prolific as the ones that will be featured in coming years.
