Could the SEC have 6 NCAA tournament Teams?

Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia appears to have its best team during head coach Mark Fox’s tenure this season. The Bulldogs have a very good win – in blowout fashion, 65-47 – over a solid Seton Hall team that just took down Villanova over the weekend. Georgia has three losses, two of which came at the hands of mediocre squads in Minnesota and Georgia Tech, while the other was to a very good Gonzaga team.
The Bulldogs have 4 starters who are upperclassmen including senior center Marcus Thornton, who appears to be Georgia’s best player. He leads in team in ppg at 13.7 and rpg at 7.2, and can block shots and get to the free throw line.
One thing I like about this team is they have some depth. J.J. Frazier is instant offense off the bench shooting 38.9% from downtown and averaging 9.2 ppg.
Overall, Georgia isn’t a great 3-point shooting team and they’ve struggled at the line, even though they have no trouble drawing fouls. However, the defense has been great this season and is what will carry them to their first NCAA tournament appearance since 2011.
The SEC is slowly but surely getting better, and I think at least 4 (plus Kentucky) of these teams will be dancing come March. Agree? Disagree? Let us know in the comments below!
