Okafor is an instant impact player, and one of the few in the draft. He could step onto a court right now and likely average close to a double-double. No matter his situation, he’s going to play. However, just how big of an impact he has will depend on how good of a situation he lands in.
With elite post moves, a great feel for the game, and the ability to find open teammates when a double-team comes, Okafor is better than many starting centers in the league already.
As of right now, the top five teams in the NBA Draft lottery are the New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Boston Celtics. Shockingly, three of the best franchises in NBA history find themselves with great odds of landing one of the best centers to enter the draft in recent memory.
Let’s take a look at which teams would be the best fit for Okafor out of those top five teams. Spoiler, it’s not who you think.
