1. New York Knicks

When it comes to bad teams, the Knicks are about as bad as it’s been in recent years. Even with a superstar like Carmelo Anthony, the team has managed to only win an impressive 7 games and currently are holding onto the top spot in the NBA Draft lottery. With very little talent on the roster aside from Anthony, the Knicks need all the help they can get in the Draft this June.

Luckily for them, there’s an absolutely perfect fit for them in Okafor. With Derek Fisher at the helm and Phil Jackson in the front office, the idea of running a triangle offense with Okafor at center is unbelievable. One of the facets that Okafor succeeds at that goes under the radar is his ability to absorb a double team and make the right pass. In general, his passing is above average for a big man.

In the triangle, having a solid passing big man makes a team all the more deadly. Think to the Lakers of the late 2000s with Pau Gasol as their big man. While Okafor’s passing is not nearly as good as Gasol’s, it gives you an idea of how effective the triangle can be with a solid passer out of the post.

The Knicks are going to draft the best player available and are certainly hoping that Okafor falls into their lap. I mean, it’s not like they have a history of landing franchise changing big men in the draft.

Chance Of Drafting Okafor – 110%
