Bad Losses: Clemson, Tennessee, Florida

Despite losing to No. 1 Kentucky 84-67 on the road, Arkansas is safe for the tournament as the Razorbacks locked up the No. 2 seed in next week’s SEC tournament with a 78-74 road victory against South Carolina Thursday night. Bobby Portis had 22 points in the win. Michael Qualls added 18 and Anthlon Bell had 14 off the bench. Arkansas will finish its regular season Saturday at home against LSU. A win will solidify the type of season this team has had, but a loss wouldn’t hurt their chances of going dancing.

Beating SMU and Dayton (two NCAA tournament teams) earlier in the season started the Razorbacks quest for a berth into the NCAA tournament.
