LSU Tigers (21-9, 10-7) projected as a No. 10 seed – Bubble

RPI TOP 25: 1-1
RPI TOP 50: 4-4
RPI TOP 100: 11-6
Quality Wins: at West Virginia, Georgia, Ole Miss (2)
Bad Losses: at Missouri, at Mississippi State, Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee
This year’s LSU team consists of two future lottery picks (Jordan Mickey and Jarell Martin) in the frontcourt and yet, the Tigers’ NCAA tournament hopes are starting to take a hit. It was bad enough LSU lost to Auburn, Missouri, and Mississippi State, but to lose to a small Tennessee team was embarrassing. Coach Johnny Jones has enough talent on his roster to be in the NCAA tournament, but at times, the Tigers haven’t played at a high level.
A win over the Vols would have had them in the mix of things, but now LSU has to find a way to bounce back and get a win over Arkansas plus one more in the SEC tournament. Maybe two.
