Who Is Best?

As part of the Q&A with each writer, we also asked them to pick who drafted the best team other than themselves. Surprisingly, there was a relative consensus singled down to a couple people:

Courtney Smith – ” Aside from my team, I think Randy Sherman had the best team. Kaminsky, Haws, Wiltjer have a jump shot. If all three of those players are having a solid game shooting from the outside, they might blowout whoever they are playing. Sam Dekker is another guy who can score at will.”

Jacob Rude – “Well clearly the real-life coach is better at this than the rest of us. Team Sherman is stacked, but I’m also a fan of Team Bennett with Jerian Grant and Jahlil Okafor, a deadly inside-out combination.”

Casey Krajewski – “The only team who has a chance against mine is Team Tran. I love the Wright, Baker, and Poeltl picks and Coach K is the best there is. Both our teams are very versatile and have guys who can play a bunch of positions.”

Bryce Bennett – “Randy Sherman’s team is terrifying offensively, especially considering John Beilein and his offensive scheming would be behind it all. They could easily average 90 points a game over the course of a season. Not sure about them defensively, but coupled with the best college basketball atmosphere in America, that is a team everyone would be scared to guard.”

Daniel Tran – “Bryce Bennett’s squad is a team to be reckoned with.  He has a great inside-outside scoring combination with Grant and Okafor leading the team. Ellis and Wells also space the floor well and add versatility from both wing positions.  They would be a tough team to beat any night.”

Alex Piasecki – “I have to go with Bryce’s team. Besides having Okafor, it features another candidate for player of the year in Jerian Grant and other experienced players such as Dezmine Wells and Perry Ellis.”

Prad Tondamantham – “Besides my team I think Bryce Bennett’s team is best, with solid players like Jahlil Okafor and Jerian Grant.”
