2. “Cold. Blooded.”

Is there a Defcon -1? What’s the step past zero? Because Isaiah Thomas sent him there in 2011. In the Pac-12 tournament, following big bucket from the Wildcats to tie it, Thomas and the Huskies had a chance to win it.

Thomas, the ever-confident guard, worked the clock down, crossed over, stepped back, and buried the three-pointer that, like Crawford, left Gus screaming. It’s the best aspect of Gus in that he reacts to plays in the exact same way as every fan would: hysteria. While obviously intelligent, charismatic, and great at what he does, Johnson is basically what we would all be like if someone handed us a mic and told us to call these games. It’s also most likely why fans love him.
