We’re going to slowly work our way into the madness, so bear with us folks. We can’t throw you into the deep end just yet. The shock of too much Gus at once can lead to brain injuries.

With a berth to the Final Four on the line, the stakes don’t get much higher for Joh….I mean the teams playing. Michigan State was down early, but came back for a back-and-forth second half. In the closing moments, Kalin Lucas, the Big Ten’s player of the year, took over, getting the big and-one bucket.

Johnson wouldn’t quite Defcon Zero on this occasion, but this also might be the biggest game with the highest stakes on this list. Not many times has he had an exciting moment in an Elite Eight game like this with two legendary schools and coaches.
