6. (10) Davidson vs. (7) Iowa, Midwest Region
Why This Upset Will Happen: Well, for most of this season, Iowa was a bubble team. They went on a six-game run to solidify their spot in the tournament. Meanwhile, this is a Davidson team that is under-seeded and over-looked. While they were blown out by VCU in their last game, that is not indicative of how good this team is. Their effective field goal percentage of 56.2% is 11th in the nation, and a far more indicative sign of how good this team is.
Why This Upset Won’t Happen: Well, Stephen Curry doesn’t have any eligibility left, as Iowa found out yesterday on Twitter.
On top of this, Aaron White is going to make a big difference.
