VIDEO: BeeJay Anya Hits Game-Winner For NC State Vs. LSU

It’s been a crazy day of March Madness action, and BeeJay Anya put a big stamp (both physically and literally) on the day. With NC State down one point late in the second half, Anya found himself with the ball and the clock ticking down. The big man calmly sank the left-handed hook shot with 0.1 seconds left to send NC State into the second round.
The Wolfpack were the beneficiary of a massive collapse by the LSU Tigers, who missed their final 12 field goals and six free throws, choking away a 62-48 lead. The Wolfpack finished the game on an 18-4 run to come away with the victory.
Anya finished with just four points on the day, but it’s the timing of those buckets, and no basket in the game was bigger than his game-winner.
The game was the fifth one on the day to be decided by one-pointer, a record for any single day in March Madness history. Is this the greatest day in March Madness history? We certainly couldn’t imagine one better!
