Wisconsin Badgers Top 5 Seasons under Bo Ryan
By Cory Gill
After 14 seasons with the Badgers, Wisconsin head coach Bo Ryan will step down from his responsibilities following the 2015-16 Season. Ryan, who made the announcement Monday, will look to build to his resume by adding a fifth Big Ten title and adding wins to his already impressive 357-125 record.
Bo Ryan, who’s style and technique differ from any other coach in college basketball, Ryan has led his teams to the Tournament in all of his 14 seasons without having flashy superstars and high powered offense, rather a trained defense and consistent offensive attack.

The gritty and efficient Badger squad that pulled off the impossible by beating Kentucky in last years semifinal is one of the best to take the court in any season. Bo Ryan’s best team is last years runner-up, lead by Frank Kaminsky III (9th pick in the NBA Draft) and Sam Dekker (18th pick in the NBA Draft).
The 2014-15 Badgers finished 36-4 with the 3rd toughest schedule in the nation. While the games weren’t always pretty, Bo Ryan had his most disciplined team that fouled on average a league best 12 times a game all while allowing 58 points per game.
Established senior leaders Kaminsky III, Sam Dekker, and Traevon Jackson helped by averaging double digits in scoring and providing sound defense on the other end. These three were the main reason why the Badgers not only returned to the Final 4, but beat their rival, the Kentucky Wildcats.
