Everyone has come out with their “Way-too-Early Top 25” college basketball rankings or their “Not-as-Early-as-the-First Top 25” college basketball rankings, but what has always been a true barometer of what to expect for the upcoming season is what “The Wiseguys” think.

Las Vegas has always been a pretty good gauge of what to expect in an upcoming season.
Can we help that it may mirror what the AP Poll is going to look like when it becomes official? No not really, but then again everything is intertwined nowadays.
It is all about perception and speculation until the games are actually played. It is just a matter of if consumers are buying what they are being sold.
That is what makes Vegas future betting so interesting. They are actually selling hope for your favorite team, and it is just a matter of the consumer deciding if they feel like investing in the dream that “The Wiseguys” are selling or not.
For this exercise we will start with the team or teams that Vegas feels are the odds on favorites to win the 2016 NCAA College Basketball Championship.
From that point we will look at the teams with the second best odds and so-on until we get to the teams with the tenth best odds on the board. Thus we have “The-Extremely-Odd Top 10” college basketball rankings.

It should not shock you in the least if the actual AP Poll looks similar to this when the college basketball season starts in November.
