Duke Blue Devils +900/90-1 – The defending champions have the second best odds to win the National Championship.
Duke Blue Devils
It is hard to repeat as champions in any sport on any level, and it becomes even harder when the core of the championship squad you had the previous season has moved on to the pro ranks.
As everyone knows by now, Quinn Cook, Tyus Jones, Justise Winslow, and Jahlil Okafor have all moved on to the NBA.
However, Mike Krzyewski has restocked his cupboard with one of the top two recruiting classes in the country.
Chase Jeter, Derrick Thornton, Luke Kennard and Brandon Ingram are all strong freshman talents and should make it to where the Blue Devils don’t skip a bit.
Brandon Ingram, who is a 6-foot-9 small forward, is seen as a top five NBA prospect for the 2016 NBA Draft by both DraftExpress and NBADraft.net.
Duke is going to have a new cast of characters to go with a good mix of players from last year’s championship squad, but the goal obviously is the same for Coach K.
Kentucky Wildcats +900/90-1– The Wildcats are going to be a new look squad for 2015-16 also after losing seven key players from their failed run at an undefeated season.

However, John Calipari reloaded his club with top freshman talent as always with Isaiah Briscoe, Skal Labissiere, and Jamal Murray headlining the Wildcats’ recruiting class.
Skal Labissiere is seen as a possible No.1 overall pick for the 2016 NBA Draft, and Jamal Murray has lottery pick potential as well.
Chances are that the 2015-16 edition of Kentucky Wildcats basketball is not going to go 38-1 like last year’s club. But a National Championship is not out of the question in the least.
If Kentucky has a fully recovered Alex Poythress playing on their frontline, to go along with the top notch freshman talent that has come in, Kentucky just might be able to win the championship that eluded them last season.
