College Basketball: Five Transfers Who Will Have Major Impacts in the 2015-16 Season
Dylan Ennis– Oregon Ducks
Dana Altman’s Oregon Ducks has a nice group of talent returning to the court.
Forward’s Dwayne Benjamin, Dillon Brooks, and Elgin Cook are all set to be solid contributors this upcoming season, but Altman needed to get some backcourt help after losing Joseph Young and Jalil Abdul-Bassit.
Fortunately for Oregon they were able to grab point guard transfer from Villanova Dylan Ennis to run the show for them.
Ennis was sought after by a few schools during this past offseason and finally chose to go to the West Coast to finish out his college career.
Last season for Villanova, Ennis averaged 9.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists and shot 41.7% from the field.
Having Ennis take over the point is a big deal since he is used to playing meaningful basketball in March, and those experiences should be able to help guide Oregon as they attempt to make it back to the NCAA tournament for the fourth consecutive season.
Ennis can get a hot hand and become deadly on the basketball court and Dana Altman hopes to get some of that productivity one last time before Ennis moves on.
Dylan Ennis should be teamed up with Tyler Dorsey in the Ducks’ backcourt who is a Top 25 recruit that had once committed to Arizona.
The Ducks are still going to be highly competitive in 2015-16 with Ennis running the show.
