College Basketball: Five Transfers Who Will Have Major Impacts in the 2015-16 Season
Rasheed Sulaimon – Maryland Terrapins
Rasheed Sulaimon is going to have a chip on his shoulder all season playing for the Maryland Terrapins.
Sulaimon was dismissed from Duke amid allegations of two sexual assaults and was the first player that Mike Krzyzewski actually had to kick off of his teams because of behavior.
This has to stick in the craw of Sulaimon, and now he must use his opportunity at Maryland to restore his name.
The 6-foot-5 guard is capable of shooting the ball well and running a team.
Last season before getting clipped by the Blue Devils, Sulaimon was averaging 7.5 points per game while hitting 41.3% from the field and 40.4% from three-point range.
The truth is if Rasheed Sulaimon can find his game and get his head back on track Maryland is going to have one of the best backcourts in the country.
He along with Melo Tremble will be a force for the Maryland Terrapins this upcoming season.
That is going to be a lot of size and a lot of shooting ability at Mark Turgeon’s disposal.
Hopefully Rasheed Sulaimon can put his issues behind him and perform up to his capability.
