No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Notre Dame has simply been cruising along this season collecting wins.

The players that you expected to see production come from for head coach Mike Brey this season are bringing their numbers.

Zach Auguste is averaging a double-double putting 14.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per contest.

V.J Beachem has been strong this season dropping 12.0 points and 5.4 rebounds as a starter.

Steve Vasturia is doing what everyone expected him to do this season putting 13.0 points and shooting 44.4% from three-point land.

Last but not least, Demetrius Jackson is doing damage as the Irish’s leading scorer putting up 17.8 points to go along with 5.0 assists.

The Irish are still one of the best shooting teams in the conference hitting 49% of their shots, while knocking down a ridiculous 41.2% of their three point attempts.

This Irish will probably pan out to be one of the top five teams in the ACC Conference when it is all said and done.

We have come to find out that their losses to Monmouth and Alabama are in no way bad losses at all since both of those teams are highly competitive.

The Irish next contest is going to be huge when they face the Indiana Hoosiers on December 19th which could be seen as a resume builder for Notre Dame.

Mike Brey simply has his Irish cruising along, but we all know that when conference play starts, they are going to be ready.
