No.12 Virginia Tech Hokies
Virginia Tech has won three games in a row and four of their last five outings.
Buzz Williams most difficult test for his Hokies came against the No. 4 Iowa State Cyclones when they lost 99-77 and that experience has actually been good for his unit.
The Hokies are putting up some nice offensive numbers this season averaging 79.9 points per game and shooting 45.8% from the floor.

Williams has managed to even find his “Big Three” for his team with Seth Allen, Justin Bibbs and Zach LaDay all making major contributions.
Zach LaDay especially has been a surprise for the Hokies with his averages of 15.5 points and 9.4 rebounds this season.
The 6-foot-7 LaDay, along with 6-foot-6 freshaman guard/forward Chris Clarke, who is averaging 10.9 points and 7.7 rebounds, has given Buzz Williams enough versatility in his lineup to be able to play small ball and succeed.
The Hokies are still a couple of seasons away from becoming a force in ACC Basketball, but you can clearly see the baby steps that are being taken.
