10. Carrier Dome (Syracuse Orange)

At the start of every Syracuse home game, all 35,000 in attendance at the Carrier Dome stand and clap until the Orange score their first basket of the game. But that amazing energy is shown throughout the game and ‘I bleed Orange’ is a true statement when it comes to upstate New York.

When the Orange moved from the Big East to the ACC in 2013, they played their first home game against the Duke Blue Devils in February of 2014 and the atmosphere was one of the best in recent memory. The Carrier Dome set a record for college basketball regular season on-campus crowds with 35,446 people in attendance.

That is just flat out ridiculous.

The Carrier Dome, which holds 50,000 people for football events, is the largest domed stadium on any college campus and it’s the largest on-campus arena in college hoops.
