There was quite a bit of talent on this roster, and while they had just won the National Championship a year before, the team fell short of expectations the following year.

Carlos Boozer, Mike Dunleavy, Dahntay Jones, Jay Williams and Chris Duhon were all professional players at some point (Jones now has an NBA ring as well). But this team was unstoppable on the offensive end, ranking second in college basketball in points per game.

Three players averaged over 17 points a game for the Blue Devils. They had a strong inside-out game with Jay Williams at the guard spot and Boozer down low. Dunleavy was able to play both the forward and guard spot which made it tough for opposing teams to handle.
