14. 1973-74 NC State Wolfpack

Another dominant NC State team. After going undefeated the year before, but unable to participate in the postseason, the Wolfpack responded and finished 30-1 and 12-0 in the ACC. Like the year before, the success came from Tommy Burleson and David Thompson.

Being so long ago, people forget how dominant these two together actually were. Burleson stood at 7-foot-2 towering above others, while Thompson stood at 6-foot-5. Thompson averaged 26 points a game and Burleson went for 18 points and 12 boards.

The duo was hard to stop down the stretch and the Wolfpack won their first National Championshp with these studs.
