NCAA Basketball: Fabulous freshman of 2016
1. Josh Jackson (Kansas)
Cue the Andrew Wiggins comparisons. And rightfully so.
Josh Jackson has a chance to be as good as Wiggins. And not just at the collegiate level.
Nearly a carbon copy of Wiggins’ physically, and with a similar skill set, Jackson projects to be a star at Kansas.
Jackson is a high-energy player who manages to sustain his intensity throughout games. He’s a play-maker on both ends of the floor, but will be remembered most for his highlight reel offensive game.
He’s a capable shooter from anywhere on the court and can handle the ball like a point guard. He distributes the ball well to teammates and he rebounds extraordinarily well for a guard.
On the opposite end of the court Jackson is a good rebounder and reliable defender. He’s often assigned to the opposing team’s best scorer. He defends well on-and-off the ball and isn’t afraid to hit the floor for loose balls.

Look for Jackson to have a big year in Lawrence before exiting for the NBA Draft in 2017.
