7. Edrice “Bam” Adebayo (Kentucky)

Edrice “Bam” Adebayo is a 6-foot-9, 240-pound power forward that possesses the strength, athleticism and intensity necessary to make an immediate impact at Kentucky.

He’s a tough player, unafraid to absorb contact and impose his will on opponents. He will immediately make Kentucky’s defense better with his size, strength and toughness. Also, Bam is a good interior defender that can block and alter shots with his long arms and lengthy wingspan.

Expectations will be high, as they always are at Kentucky, particularly because of the long line of talented big men that Adebayo follows. When his time at Kentucky is done, where will Adebayo rank among the likes of DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis, Nerlens Noel, Julius Randle and Karl Anthony-Towns? Only time can tell, but it’s certain that his impact will be felt.

As physically and athletically gifted as he is, he’ll need to continue working on his offensive game in order to reach his full potential. If he does, there will be very few individual players in the SEC who can stop him from having his way in the paint.
