3. Jayson Tatum (Duke)

Jayson Tatum, the 2015-16 Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year, chose to attend Duke over Kentucky, North Carolina and Saint Louis.

Like teammate Harry Giles, Tatum is an extremely talented and physically gifted player. At 6’8″, 208 pounds, he’s got the size and length to match his athletic ability. He’s an excellent ball-handler and can shoot the ball from all over the court.

Duke will benefit from his versatility and his ability to play multiple positions. He dribbles like a guard and has the size of a power forward. He’ll be a high-energy player on both ends of the court for the Blue Devils.

Tatum and Giles, along with a handful of McDonald’s All-Americans, look to help Duke reclaim it’s title as the best team in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Along the way, don’t be shocked to see a friendly battle between Tatum and Giles for ACC Player of the Year.
